Main process and characteristics of non-woven fabrics

1. Spunbond nonwoven technology

Spunbond non-woven fabrics use the principle of chemical fiber spinning to extrude and stretch polymers to form continuous filaments and then lay them into a web. The web is then self-bonded, thermally bonded, chemically bonded or mechanically bonded. The reinforcement method is made into a non-woven fabric. Among spunbond nonwovens, polypropylene spunbond can account for about 70% at most, followed by polyester spunbond with about 18%, and nylon spunbond and a small amount of functionalized spunbond.

Features of polypropylene spunbond fabric:

(1) Polypropylene spunbond fabric is mainly produced with polypropylene resin, the density is only 0.91, and the materials such as polybasic ester and nylon are light;

(2) The thickness of the same weight product is thicker and has fluffy;

(3) The finished product is moderately soft and comfortable;

(4) Good water repellency and air permeability. PP resin does not absorb water, the moisture content is zero, the product has good water repellency, and it is composed of 100% fiber, which is porous, the product has good air permeability, and it is easy to keep the cloth surface dry;

(5) Non-toxic and non-irritating. PP spunbond products do not contain other chemical components, are non-toxic, odor-free and do not irritate human skin;

(6) Anti-chemical agents. PP resin is a chemically passive substance, with good resistance to chemical erosion, and the product is not affected by erosion;

(7) Good antibacterial properties. No mold and can isolate the erosion of bacteria and insects in the liquid;

(8) Good physical and mechanical properties. The strength of the product is better than that of the general staple fiber product, the strength is non-directional, and the vertical and horizontal strengths are similar;

(9) Easy to process. PP resin is a thermoplastic resin, which can be processed by high-frequency hot-melt stitching in addition to general sewing;
